A New Brunch, Lunch, and Coffee Destination in the Heart of Gheluvelt Park

The team behind Wayland’s Yard is proud to announce KYNDFOLK, a fresh concept that combines incredible food, coffee, and community in a stunning park setting. Located at The Pump House in Gheluvelt Park, Worcester, KYNDFOLK promises to be a neighbourhood hub where you can meet your mate, date, mum, dad, sister, neighbour and nan, to enjoy a welcoming atmosphere with real values at its heart.

A Space To Connect

“The idea behind KYNDFOLK is to create something truly special—a space that’s not only inviting but also rooted in quality and community,” - Joe Phillips, co-owner. “We’re so excited to bring amazing produce, coffee, and an incredible atmosphere to such a beautiful location. It’s a chance to take the quality and experience we’ve cultivated at Wayland’s Yard out of the city and into the park.”

Sharing The Journey

“KYNDFOLK is more than just a café—it’s a story in the making.” - Oli Pitts, Co-owner , “We want to bring people along for the ride, so we’ll be sharing a video diary on our socials throughout the renovation process. From the highs to the hardships, we’ll document everything, giving people an inside look at how KYNDFOLK comes to life. It’s all about transparency and celebrating the journey as much as the result.”

A Place for Everyone

In addition to serving great food and drinks, KYNDFOLK will double as a community hub. “We’re offering free use of our space for special interest groups, parent classes, yoga sessions, and other community activities during operating hours,” - Steve Sosna, co-owner . “It’s part of our commitment to making KYNDFOLK a true neighbourhood space. For updates, people can follow us on Instagram at @kynd.folk or sign up for our emailer on our website.”

Merchandise Drops coming soon

To keep the buzz alive ahead of the launch early next year, we will also introduce exclusive merchandise drops. “We’re creating a line of merch that not only represents the KYNDFOLK brand but also gets people excited about what’s to come,” - Adam Edney, co-owner. “It’s a fun way to connect with the community and build anticipation while we bring the space to life.”
